We're looking for someone with exceptional customer service skills to join our front-line support team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Responding to incidents and service requests using our ICT infrastructure and information systems
- Recording incident details, monitoring progress, and providing accurate information to stakeholders
- Providing first and second-line incident management for users and desktop SOE issues
- Adhering to user onboarding and offboarding processes for efficient advice
- Maintaining the register of applicable ICT assets, facilitating reports for ICT management and the Finance team
Additional responsibilities may include designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining desktop SOEs as well as evaluating hardware or software upgrades. You'll also assist business users with audio/visual equipment and collaboration software, including Microsoft Teams. To succeed in this role, you'll need to develop, refine, and document knowledge, processes, and procedures related to these items.
To be considered for this position, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Proficiency in resolving non-technical issues, prioritizing service requests, and communicating effectively
- A strong understanding of Windows operating systems, desktop software/hardware, and SOE deployments
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, demonstrating high-level customer service skills
- Extensive knowledge and skills in operating and controlling IT infrastructure
- Proven expertise in managing customer service functions and processing timely responses to incidents
