About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Integrity and Compliance Manager to join our team at Qantas Airways. As a key member of our Business Integrity and Compliance Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Group's global compliance obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement measures to ensure global legislative requirements and relevant standards are met.
  • Support the ongoing development of the corporate compliance framework.
  • Lead global risk assessment and due diligence activities, including the development of mitigation strategies and remediation plans.
  • Advise on and manage reputational risk matters.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a consistent, coordinated approach to compliance and risk management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in risk and/or compliance roles.
  • Relevant tertiary/university education.
  • Expertise in one or more core Business Integrity and Compliance subject matter areas.
  • Strong understanding of domestic and global anti-bribery & corruption, sanctions, and human rights (modern slavery) legislation and international standards.
  • Proven experience in compliance program frameworks, compliance management systems, and risk and control management.
  • Highly developed report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to solve complex problems, lead multiple projects, and prioritize concurrently.
  • Leadership, stakeholder management, and training capabilities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to manage confidential information.
