Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our national account management efforts.

Job Description:

This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key clients, focused on business excellence and sustainable growth. Key responsibilities include managing multi-level client relationships, negotiations, and sales cycles, as well as project managing client implementation and relationship management requirements to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships and negotiate contracts to meet business objectives
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive growth and revenue
  • Lead presentations and account performance reviews aligned with contractual KPIs and client business improvement initiatives
  • Develop initiatives that improve performance and increase efficiencies
  • Acquire new business through targeted sales efforts and partnerships

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated success in a similar senior national account management role in a B2B or Government environment. You must also have proven track record in Client Relationship Management and Sales Retention and Growth.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development and account management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyse market trends and customer behaviour to inform sales strategy
  • Use of reporting tools and CRM analytics to measure pipeline health and conversion rates
