National Business Development Manager – Home & Kitchen at Oppenheimer Pty Ltd
Reports to: Company Director
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Business Development Manager to lead growth across Australia's major retailers in the Home & Kitchen sector.
This pivotal role combines strategic business development with hands-on key account management, ensuring long-term partnerships and strong sales performance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new opportunities, strengthening existing retail relationships, and overseeing a small, dedicated team to deliver results in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow relationships with major Australian retailers across the Home & Kitchen category.
Develop and execute national sales and business development strategies.
Lead, mentor, and support a small sales/account management team.
Deliver sales growth targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the retail sector.
Prepare and present business reviews, forecasts, and reports to the Director.
Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with key retail partners.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within the retail or consumer goods industry (Home & Kitchen sector preferred).
Proven success in key account management and developing long-term retail partnerships.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales performance and market trends.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work on-site in Silverwater, NSW.
