Product Leaders are accountable for driving the success of key business initiatives. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to support COGS.

The Product Manager will partner with buying and category development teams to drive end-to-end process improvements, utilising their strong understanding of category management principles and knowledge of commodity and other external factors impacting cost.

This role will also be critical in working with key stakeholders to scope, develop and implement tools improvements to unlock value to stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking carriage for the management and governance of the cost adjustment framework
  • Leading a team of analysts with a strong focus on coaching and development
  • Developing and implementing tools, technology insights and engagement models to support smart decision making

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial, category management, pricing or data analytics role in a fast-paced retail or FMCG environment. They will possess a strategic mindset, ability to build relationships, influence and empower stakeholders at all levels across the business.

Key qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a team with a strong focus on coaching and development
  • High proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets and MS Powerpoint / Google Slides
  • Ability to understand core data analytics principles and terminology
