Category Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead the strategic direction of categories within allocated contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage value for money opportunities and deliver significant commercial outcomes aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage complex projects and resources effectively to achieve work goals and meet deadlines and commitments.
  • Oversee contract extensions and sourcing for new tenders.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in strategic contract management, procurement, tendering, category management, and current legislations and standards.
  • Familiarity with fleet and equipment categories.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with a proven track record of achieving effective business outcomes.
  • Prior experience in Local Government will be highly beneficial.
