About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Category Manager to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage category ranges, pricing and promotional plans that drive sales growth and profitability for our network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic category plans that meet business objectives and exceed customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to achieve commercial outcomes. They will also possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver strategic category plans that drive sales growth and profitability
  • Negotiate effectively with suppliers to achieve commercial outcomes
  • Manage category ranges, pricing and promotional plans to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to inform category decisions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in category management or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working with suppliers and managing commercial relationships
