About the Role:

The Senior Buyer will be responsible for overseeing the management of our critical categories, leading a team to achieve commercial goals. This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as we expand into new markets.

  • Weekly reporting on trade performance, including sales, best and worst-selling items, and new arrivals
  • Responsible for managing own-design ranges that meet sales targets, margin requirements, and customer expectations
  • Identify gaps in the range and drive trend relevance by understanding customer needs and regional requirements
  • Manage the product portfolio from core lines to newness, including markdowns, allocations, and trend updates
  • Trend, pricing, and competitor research to identify relevant products through social media and local market research
  • Plan move-ons with the design team to create a balanced range aligned with trade analysis and trend research
  • Negotiate cost prices with suppliers to achieve target margins
  • Attend fits to provide amendments to garments and ensure commerciality
  • Analyze seasonal performance, including SWOTs, seasonal bring-backs, and emerging trend research
  • Provide feedback to e-commerce teams on required changes, including presentation, menu selection, and product information
  • Support, train, and coach direct reports to develop their skills and support their career goals
