Confidentiality Manager – Data Protection

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Confidentiality Manager to join our organisation in Melbourne, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to play a key role in supporting the business to manage regulatory risks and opportunities in a way that benefits colleagues, customers, and communities.

The Confidentiality Manager will be responsible for providing expert advice on data protection matters, including performing risk assessments on changes to regulatory requirements, identifying gaps, and recommending mitigating controls.

In addition, the Confidentiality Manager will maintain and improve local policies, tools, and templates to support day-to-day compliance, and coordinate and prepare for steering committees and forums focused on data protection.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong personal organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively, as well as strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build partnerships across the business and act as a trusted advisor.
