Job Overview

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end management of employee compensation, ensuring accuracy and timely processing across the entire lifecycle. This role requires a high degree of attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Manage payroll from start to finish, ensuring compliance with relevant tax, superannuation, and award obligations.
  • Contract Management: Update contracts for new starters, manage terminations, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Advice and Support: Provide guidance to employees on pay, policy updates, and entitlements, as well as perform quality control checks.
  • Compliance and Training: Maintain knowledge of legislative changes and ensure payroll practices are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Assist in generating reports, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
