We are seeking a highly skilled Research Officer to join our team at the Children's Cancer Institute. As a Research Officer, you will play a critical role in advancing our understanding of childhood cancer and developing new treatments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform research in embryonal cancer therapy and prevention, including single cell RNA sequencing and drug resistance studies.
  • Develop new treatment strategies for childhood cancer.
  • Conduct experiments and analyze data to understand the mechanisms behind childhood cancer.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve outstanding results.
  • Write grant applications and obtain research funding.
  • Present research data at conferences and seminars.
  • Train and supervise students.

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant scientific medical field.
  • Experience in molecular and cellular biology.
  • Experience in single cell profiling and animal models.
  • Ability to design and conduct experiments independently and in a team environment.
  • Advanced computer skills and bioinformatics skills.
  • Commitment to conducting experiments involving humans, animals, and GMOs under strict ethical and regulatory guidelines.
