About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Officer to join our team at the Children's Cancer Institute. As a Research Officer, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement research projects focused on finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct experiments to investigate the causes and mechanisms of childhood cancer
  • Analyze data and results to draw conclusions and inform future research directions
  • Collaborate with other researchers and scientists to share knowledge and expertise
  • Develop and maintain laboratory protocols and procedures
  • Monitor and report on research progress and outcomes

Requirements

  • PhD in molecular biology, cancer biology, or a related field
  • Experience in gene editing, molecular biology, and cell culture techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
