About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is for a skilled Research Officer to join our team, working on the NHMRC ideas grant focused on cancer treatment, molecular biology, and nano-delivery systems.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize NGS technology to handle and prepare complex libraries for sequencing.
- Work with gene editing technologies like RNAi and CRISPR/cas9 KO.
- Develop expertise in medical nanotechnologies, particularly drug/RNAi delivery systems, synthetic nanotech, and cell-derived structures.
- Collaborate on projects involving cell lines and patient-derived cells, analyzing molecular pathways.
- Conduct metabolic assays and manage technologies for DNA, RNA, and protein analysis.
- Work with animal models to test drugs or nanotechnologies.
- A competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
