Team Leader for Facilities Management Services

A highly motivated and experienced professional is sought to lead our Central Support team in delivering efficient and compliant facilities management services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of facilities management services across a diverse range of properties within the property and fleet portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and audit all team activities to ensure compliance, quality, and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain processes associated with asset database management, maintenance planning, compliance documentation, administrative support, mailroom services, hazardous materials and hygiene services, property management, reception, and reporting.
  • Contribute to business strategy relating to future property and accommodation requirements.
  • Support the development of enterprise risk management, safety, health, environmental, and community programs.
  • Manage talent through effective employee performance outcomes and ongoing employee development.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives and encourage team members to adopt change.
  • Collaborate with other facilities management team leaders to promote consistency and implement improvements.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive industry experience within a property or facilities management environment.
  • Solid understanding of asset management planning practices, principles, and legislative requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning or delivering facility solutions that support business strategies.
  • Ability to work autonomously with initiative and independent judgment.
  • Attention to detail with high-level organization and time management skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership, influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
