Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned leader to manage and improve transportation operations in Australia. This role will focus on developing and implementing strategies to enhance yard management activities, drive performance, and build a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own transportation operations management for multiple regions in Australia
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve yard management activities and drive performance
  • Manage a team of regional operations managers and provide coaching and mentoring to ensure performance objectives are met
  • Build and maintain relationships with site support functions to secure resources and support for projects and initiatives
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities for growth and develop business plans

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • 5+ years of team management experience
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Significant work experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or manufacturing
  • Strong leadership skills with employee and performance management experience, including data analytics and data-driven decision-making skills
