Job Title: Transportation Ops Manager

Lead the development and implementation of a world-class transportation operations network in Australia.

The successful candidate will ensure seamless execution of day-to-day operations, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage teams to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee the management of transportation operations for multiple regions within Australia.
  • Oversight of overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience for yard management activities across all sites in Australia.
  • Lead a team of area managers across different regions, providing regular coaching and development sessions and directing the team as needed.
  • Launch new site operations by collaborating with launch teams and cross-functional teams to setup TOM.
  • Establish a high-performing team through instilling ownership and creating a culture of excellence.

Work closely with sites' support functions to build and secure resources for projects and initiatives. Drive creation of safety and quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Lean initiatives to meet business plans.

Evaluate best practices and share them across all sites, departments, shifts, and among the network. Ensure readiness for travel primarily within Australia.
