Project Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to support our Operations team with administrative tasks, data management, and general project support. The successful candidate will work closely with the operations team to gather information, maintain accurate records, and ensure efficient documentation.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining accurate systems and registers in line with project requirements.
  • Providing administrative support that fosters an environment of efficiency, accuracy, and order of priority.
  • Assisting Operations and Admin team with general administration duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project teams with administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and document management.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports in line with Austal standards and project requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Construction safety induction (white card), or the ability to obtain one.
  • Working experience in an Administrative/Project Support role and/or Diploma in Business Office Administration.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact and communicate positively and professionally.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines while managing multiple tasks/projects.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of project management, processes, and planning.
