Lead Member Services Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our Member Services Team, ensuring exceptional member experience and achieving all agreed goals and performance indicators. As Lead Member Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing the team, mentoring staff, and developing close relationships with members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Member Services Team to deliver excellent member experience and achieve agreed goals and performance indicators.
  • Develop strong member relationships and become a trusted advisor across all aspects of risk management.
  • Interact with markets and placement of insurance policies for risks outside of the Mutual.
  • Present at industry events on current and emerging risks affecting the local government sector.
  • Contribute to organisational strategy and cross-team collaboration as a member of the Management Executive.
  • Manage the renewal process for Mutual members.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in managing team relationships and senior level client relationships with a focus on exceptional service.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience within the insurance industry.
  • Strong market relationships and experience with the placement and servicing of large and complex clients.
  • Excellent technical skills across property, motor, financial lines, workers compensation, accident and health, and casualty classes of insurance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
