As a key account manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and nurturing client relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a portfolio of clients, crafting strategies to ensure their success while contributing directly to business growth.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in account management, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication and presentation abilities. They will be proactive and results-driven, with a focus on achieving business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Revenue Growth: Drive overall revenue growth across the assigned portfolio by maximising opportunities with key accounts and maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • Client Onboarding & Handover: Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure a smooth transition of client ownership during the trial phase, delivering a seamless experience for new clients.
  • Trial Conversion: Analyse trial results, address objections, and convert trial clients into fixed-term contracts, ensuring a high success rate in closing new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional Account Management: Deliver outstanding customer service, focusing on optimising ROI for key accounts to strengthen satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Growth & Retention Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to grow and retain high-value clients, increasing their lifetime value and fostering enduring partnerships.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with sales leadership and marketing teams, providing updates on client performance, opportunities, and projected lead volumes/spending to align strategies.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Gather and analyse client feedback and disposition data to uncover actionable insights that inform marketing initiatives and support overall business goals.
  • Business Reviews: Conduct regular reviews with key accounts, presenting performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement, and offering strategic recommendations to drive mutual success.
  • Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify and execute opportunities to upsell and cross-sell, tailoring our product offerings to meet client needs and drive additional revenue.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to proactively identify growth opportunities for key accounts.
  • Contract Renewals: Work closely with clients to secure contract renewals, ensuring a stable pipeline of revenue and fostering long-term client relationships.
  • Payment Resolution: Partner with the finance team to resolve overdue payments, ensuring timely collection and maintaining account integrity.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven Account Management Experience: Demonstrated success in key account management or a similar customer-facing role within a sales-driven environment.
  • Client Relationship Management: Strong track record of building and nurturing successful client relationships, achieving revenue targets, and driving business growth.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: A commitment to delivering outstanding client experiences, with a focus on understanding and addressing client needs.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to inform strategies and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Communication and Presentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence stakeholders at all organisational levels.
