Job Opportunity

The role of a Test Lead for Market Services is to lead testing activities for an Electricity Distributor with Retailers via MSATS, as well as market enablement activities during deployment for go-live.

This position involves devising testing artifacts, employing functional solutions, allocating test cases to the team, coordinating with the development team, and organizing meetings with business stakeholders.

  • Lead testing of an Electricity Distributor with Retailers via MSATS (Service Orders, CRs & CATS)
  • Lead Market Enablement activities during deployment for go live
  • Involve in devising all the artefacts of testing such as understanding & analyse the requirements, test plan creation, effort estimation, test scenarios and test cases creation, requirement traceability, test data preparation, execution of test cases, preparation of test reports, defect reporting, and preparation of test summary report.
  • Responsible to employ functional solutions including developing, implementing, and adopting the system test plans, which ensure the integrity and sustainable system quality. Perform sanity/shakeout testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, adhoc testing, regression testing, end to end application testing and production verification testing.
  • Responsible in the test case allocation to the team, execution of test cases, documentation, database validations, and logging the defects into the bug tracking tool and coordinated with the development team to get the issues fixed at the earliest.
  • Organize regular meetings with business for Test Approach, Test Scenario walk through and Test evidence review.
  • Publish daily/weekly summary reports and test summary reports.
