About the Role:
Based at our Shepparton Production Facility, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Value-Added Meat & Food Business.
Reporting Line: The QA Manager reports to the Senior Business Manager.
Responsibilities:
Manage the QA function, maintaining business processes and auditing procedures.
Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, and Export accreditations.
Provide guidance to quality assurance staff and production staff on quality matters.
This role requires a determined and assertive person with good judgement, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and plan.
Excellent communication skills are essential to work effectively with staff, management, contractors, suppliers, customers, and auditors.
The role also demands strong administrative and computer skills.
This is a full-time, permanent position starting immediately.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Food Safety Qualifications
Experience in meat processing, specifically in a Value-Added environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience in Quality Assurance and supervisory roles
Formal HACCP training and thorough working knowledge of HACCP
Experience as an on-site SQF Practitioner
Exposure to WHS & Environmental systems
