We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Officer to join our team at Harris Geospatial Solutions. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for supporting routine tasks and all security aspects, acting as an alternate point of contact and advisor to management and staff on all aspects of security.
Key Responsibilities- Hold the position of Crypto Custodian and manage the company's CAM security and reporting responsibilities.
- Provide SME knowledge and guidance to the business, supporting technical discussions and guiding the development of Crypto management tools.
- Conduct company training in Crypto management and coordinate user training on L3 Harris Crypto products.
- Ensure the business meets international and domestic crypto shipping compliance requirements.
- Liaise with domestic and international technical staff to coordinate and conduct minor calibration and repairs.
- Coordinate return of equipment to L3 Harris SME for more extensive repairs.
- Meet Australian Government Stocktaking requirements.
- Manage the L3 Harris Crypto Product Inventory control, including the conduct of Stocktakes and reporting.
- Support the application of security procedures and practices in accordance with the company's Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) membership and Defence security Principles Framework (DSPF).
- Support the company's Information Security Management System in accordance with the Australian Government Department of Defence, L3 HARRIS SASA Security Policy Framework (SPF), L3 HARRIS Corporate Information Security Policy, and NIST SP-800 series standards.
- CAM qualifications and experience in managing Crypto Accounts.
- Good understanding and experience of NIST SP-800 series.
- Good computer literacy with the ability to effectively use common office applications, e.g., MS Word, Excel.
- Preferred defence or defence industry experience with experience in Cyber and Information Technology Systems.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines with a keen eye for detail, ensuring effective prioritisation of workload.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both internally and externally, with utmost tact, firmness, clarity, and discretion.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Unwavering integrity.
