About the RoleThis is a casual opportunity to join our team as a Security Officer in the Townsville region. You will be working in a variety of roles, including gatehouse duties, monitoring CCTV and access control systems, and conducting building patrols to identify and report security and safety risks.
Key Responsibilities- Providing strong customer service solutions to visitors, contractors, and clients
- Gatehouse duties, including managing contractors and deliveries
- Proactively monitoring CCTV and access control systems
- Conducting building patrols to identify and report security and safety risks
- Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectification
- Providing support to tenants and facilities
- Responding to emergency situations
- Strong customer service skills
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
- Ability to work in a rotational roster (nights, days, weekends)
- Australian citizen or hold unlimited work rights
- Previous experience in corporate real estate contracts (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports
- Demonstrated ability in the use of computers and security-related systems (access control, CCTV, Microsoft programs)
- Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
- Valid QLD security license (including monitoring subclass)
- Crowd control endorsement will be highly desirable
- Current first aid and CPR certificate
