Senior Security Officer

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Officer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Intelligence & Cyber International (ICI) division, you will be responsible for supporting routine tasks and all security aspects, acting as an alternate point of contact and advisor to management and staff on all aspects of security.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the company's CAM security and reporting responsibilities, ensuring compliance with international and domestic crypto shipping requirements.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to the business, supporting technical discussions and guiding the development of Crypto management tools.
- Conduct company training in Crypto management and coordinate user training on L3Harris Crypto products.
- Liaise with domestic and international technical staff to coordinate and conduct minor calibration and repairs.
- Meet Australian Government Stocktaking requirements and manage the L3Harris Crypto Product Inventory control, including stocktakes and reporting.
- Support the application of security procedures and practices in accordance with the company's Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) membership and Defence security Principles Framework (DSPF).
- Support the company's Information Security Management System in accordance with the Australian Government Department of Defence, L3HARRIS SASA Security Policy Framework (SPF), L3HARRIS Corporate Information Security Policy, and NIST SP-800 series standards.
- CAM qualifications and experience in managing Crypto Accounts.
- Good understanding and experience of NIST SP-800 series and following skills are desirable.
- Good computer literacy with the ability to effectively use common office applications, such as MS Word and Excel.
- Preferred defence or defence industry experience with experience in Cyber and Information Technology Systems.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Unwavering integrity and a keen eye for detail.
