About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Security Officer in the Townsville region. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing strong customer service solutions to visitors, contractors, and clients, as well as conducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security and safety risks.
Key Responsibilities- Providing customer service solutions to visitors, contractors, and clients
- Gatehouse duties
- Monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems
- Conducting building patrols to identify and report security and safety risks
- Providing support to tenants and facilities
- Managing contractors and deliveries through dock management
- Responding to emergency situations
- Strong customer service skills
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
- Ability to work in a rotational roster (nights/days/weekends)
- Australian citizen or hold unlimited work rights
- Previous experience in corporate real estate contracts (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports
- Demonstrated ability in the use of computers and security-related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft programmes)
- Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
- Valid QLD Security License (including Monitoring Subclass)
- Crowd Control endorsement will be highly desirable
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
