Job Title: Front Office Specialist
Hotel Professional OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional to join our team at a 4.5 star hotel in Melbourne.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the front office manager with the finer details of hotel operations, ensuring a smooth and flawless day-to-day experience for guests.
You will have a focus on managing the inbound end-to-end process for all hotel inquiries, with a specific emphasis on the wedding market. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent knowledge of the hotel's products, packages, and capacities.
Main Duties:
- Managing the check-in and check-out process
- Answering phone calls and handling online bookings
- Coordinating Hotel reservations and Restaurant Reservations
- Handling gift vouchers and general guest enquiries
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, as well as performing daily checklists.
Requirements:
- Previous front office experience in a hotel
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- A happy and personable disposition with a solutions-focused attitude
- Exceptional communication skills dealing with a variety of backgrounds and cultures
- A head for numbers with financial analysis skills
- Preferably experience using Opera or RMS property management systems
