About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Capacity and Home Living Assessment Specialist to join our team at Everyday Independence. As a key member of our interdisciplinary practice, you will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate individuals' abilities and challenges across various life tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough Functional Capacity and Home Living Assessments in participants' homes and other relevant environments.
  • Develop personalized recommendations for home and living support models based on assessment findings.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of NDIS regulations and funding guidelines to ensure accurate and effective support planning.
  • Utilize quality of life approaches, inclusion strategies, and ecosystem supports in assessment and recommendation processes.
  • Produce timely and evidence-based reports to support assessment outcomes and recommendations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • General AHPRA Registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in functional capability and home living assessment.
  • Knowledge of NDIS guidelines and funding structures preferred.

  • Strong communication skills and a team player.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check.
