About the Role

As a Functional Capacity and Home Living Assessor at Everyday Independence, you'll be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate individuals' abilities, challenges, and support needs across various life tasks.

Your assessments will inform personalized recommendations for home and living support models, fostering active self-determination and enabling individuals to participate fully in decision-making regarding their living situation.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate individuals' functional capacity and home living needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized recommendations for home and living support models.
  • Maintain knowledge of NDIS guidelines and funding structures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless support for participants.
  • Produce timely and evidence-based reports to support assessment outcomes and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • General AHPRA Registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in functional capability and home living assessment.
  • Knowledge of NDIS guidelines and funding structures preferred.
  • A positive and flexible approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills and a team player.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Working with Children's Check.
