Main Responsibilities:

  • Freight Coordination: Coordinating the movement of goods from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Customer Communication: Maintaining regular contact with customers to keep them informed about the status of their shipments and resolving any concerns they may have.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete, adhering to local and international regulations, and maintaining compliance with DHL's operational standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in logistics processes and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with other team members to ensure continuity and seamless service during peak periods or absences.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Freight Forwarding: A minimum of 2 years' experience in freight forwarding operations, preferably with experience in Air and Ocean freight.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in managing complex logistics processes.
  • Operational Systems: Proficiency in using operational systems, such as DHL's systems, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and logistics partners.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and resolve problems promptly and professionally.
