At our organization, we are seeking an exceptional Logistics and Export Operations Specialist to join our team.

This critical role involves managing processes, handling and distributing all required documentation in the shipping area. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating pickup arrangements, ensuring customer requirements are met and all required documentation is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Coordinating pickup arrangements to guarantee seamless logistics operations.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting their requirements and providing accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of AFR/OFR Export Operations, with a minimum of one year's experience in Shipping/International freight forwarding industry in airfreight and/or ocean-freight operational roles. Strong communication and administration skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and follow origin and destination government requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing export operations, including coordinating pickups and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Providing accurate and timely documentation to support logistics operations.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth operation of logistics processes.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year's experience in Shipping/International freight forwarding industry in airfreight and/or ocean-freight operational roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of AFR/OFR Export Operations.
  • CargoWise system experience required.
  • Dangerous Goods Accreditation highly regarded.
  • Able to work independently and follow origin and destination government requirements.
  • Strong communication and administration skills.
