ECS are seeking a Logistics Coordinator who could either be someone experienced in logistics or an enthusiastic individual with a willingness to learn and grow with us. If you have the right attitude and commitment, we're here to support you in developing the skills needed to excel in this role.

As a Logistics Coordinator at ECS, you will play a key role in ensuring our transportation and distribution processes run smoothly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for coordinating freight, liaising with customers, and managing delivery timelines. Whether you're experienced or just starting your career, this role offers the opportunity to grow, learn, and make a significant impact.

Day To Day You Will

  • Coordinate customer requirements for road freight.
  • Manage transport schedules to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
  • Communicate with clients about transport options, timelines, and any delays.
  • Follow up on freight shipments and provide status updates to clients.
  • Assist in preparing invoices and managing jobs using CargoWise software.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of efficient project logistics procedures.
  • Support general office and warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications And Experience

While experience in logistics or transportation is an advantage, we encourage applications from individuals with a passion for learning and a genuine interest in logistics. We are open to training and moulding the right candidate.
  • Experience or strong interest in logistics, transport, warehousing, or distribution.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • HC and forklift licenses are a bonus but not required.
