Senior Social Justice Advocate

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Social Justice Advocate to join our team at Uniting. As a key member of our advocacy team, you will play a critical role in leading our advocacy efforts and developing campaigns to achieve impactful social justice outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement advocacy campaigns that align with Uniting's strategic objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, Uniting employees, and like-minded organisations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective advocacy strategies.
- Develop and deliver training programs to build the capacity of Uniting staff and supporters.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of advocacy campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.
We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to social justice, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and complex environment. You will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in advocacy or campaign coordination and a proven track record of developing and implementing successful advocacy campaigns.
