Pro Bono Assistant

We are excited to partner with a leading national law firm in search of a talented Legal Assistant with a passion for social justice and human rights. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, providing crucial support to the Head of Pro Bono. You will play a key role in managing projects, financial reporting, and various administrative tasks, contributing to the firm's outstanding reputation for legal excellence and positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivate and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Assist with the implementation of all pro bono and community engagement activities and projects, ensuring alignment with the firm's strategic objectives.
- Coordinate travel and flight bookings, and prepare detailed itineraries, utilizing industry-standard software and tools.
- Generate accounting reports related to clients and matters, providing accurate and timely financial information.
- Handle matter inquiries and prepare cost agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain marketing contact information, ensuring up-to-date and accurate records.
- Support the team by ensuring an organized practice and efficient workflow, contributing to the firm's overall success.
- Experience as a Legal Secretary, with a strong understanding of legal software systems and procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a readiness to exceed expectations, with a strong passion for social justice and human rights.
