About the Role

Marsh is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Advocate to join our Claims Solutions practice in Melbourne or Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional claims advocacy services to our clients in a complex regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clients with first-class claims advocacy, navigating complex regulatory environments.
  • Support brokers in managing clients' insurance and claims portfolios.
  • Effectively manage underwriters, service providers, and key stakeholders to ensure clients receive their full policy entitlements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients to support retention and new business acquisition.
  • Implement and localize broader claims strategies.
  • Assist in retaining existing business through delivering superior claims advocacy.
  • Support new business opportunities across the range of offerings for targeted clients.
  • Ensure our services and programs meet clients' needs and expectations.
  • Apply and utilize extensive knowledge of major classes of insurance to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge and experience in property, liability, and complex claims management.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with external and internal clients, senior executives.
  • Experience working with insurers in the Australian insurance market.
  • Collaborative approach to work.
  • Demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent decision-making and negotiation skills with the ability to influence.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Mature outlook and strength of character to discuss complex issues with senior leaders and conduct meetings with confidence.
