About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Social Justice Advocate to join our team at Uniting. As a key member of our advocacy team, you will play a critical role in leading our advocacy efforts and developing campaigns to achieve impactful social justice outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advocacy campaigns to achieve strategic objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, Uniting employees, and like-minded organisations
  • Coordinate events and activities to support advocacy goals and engage wider audiences
  • Develop and manage databases of campaign supporters and produce data reports to inform decision-making
  • Provide training on policy, advocacy, and campaign strategies to build the capacity of supporters and Uniting staff
  • Nurture positive relationships with other agencies and coalition partners
