Operations Manager - Mechanical Workshop

The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the mechanical workshop ensuring high standards of quality, safety and efficiency are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with customers and workshop staff to plan and schedule current and upcoming work
  • Ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective operations of the mechanical workshop while seeking improvement opportunities
  • Manage workshop resources to meet both scheduled and unscheduled job demands
  • Provide technical guidance to tradespeople and support for on the job training, toolbox talks and meetings

About You

We are looking for a skilled leader with at least 5 years' experience in maintenance and supervision. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels and manage multiple projects well at one time.

Requirements

- Trades qualified (mechanical/electrical preferred)

- Proactive and results-driven individual

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
