Restaurant Operations Manager

The Shift Leader role is a leadership position that oversees the daily operations of a specific area in a restaurant during scheduled shifts.
The primary responsibility of a Shift Leader is to provide guidance and support to hourly staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job functions effectively. This includes providing customer service, preparing products, handling cash accountability, and performing tasks related to drive-thru and back-line food preparation.
Shift Leaders are also responsible for managing the assigned area of the restaurant, including ensuring it is properly organized and staffed according to the schedule. They must be able to conduct orientations, trainings, and evaluations of crew members in all functional areas.
In addition, Shift Leaders may contribute to the execution of the restaurant's business plan through specific job assignments and projects as determined by the management team.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- a high school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of management experience in a restaurant setting
- demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- mathematical literacy and proficiency in Windows-based computer systems
