Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Assurance Specialist to drive operational excellence and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating and recommending risk architecture design improvements to enhance risk and compliance maturity
  • Developing, monitoring, and assuring mechanisms to improve compliance awareness, best practices, and appropriate attitudes
  • Providing advice to senior management on reporting to relevant regulators of any reportable compliance breaches or near-misses

You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure the finalised artefacts, tools, and procedures produce reliable outcomes. With significant experience in compliance, risk, or audit management, you will be able to communicate effectively with audiences at all levels and positively influence risk behaviours.

Requirements

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Proven experience developing enterprise-wide frameworks for sustained compliance
  • A sound understanding of contemporary Australian corporate governance
