About the Role

The role is an opportunity to work in a hotel environment where events and conferences are a significant part of the business.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to assist with the reactive sales component of conference, banquets and events sales for the Hotel.

  • Assist with producing timely and accurate event orders for both the client and hotel operations teams.
  • B build positive client relationships to maximize repeat client opportunities by proactively meeting and greeting clients, ensuring the smooth execution of events and following up on sales opportunities.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.

Requirements
  • Previous experience with event coordinating, client communication and communicating client requirements in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Previous experience with handling client enquiries from start to finish.
