Compassionate Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide essential care and support to children and young people who may be facing various challenges.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. They will also possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality support services that meet the needs of clients.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and care to children and young people with varying levels of need
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for clients
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills
- Current NSW Driver's Licence
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
- A paid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC)
- Willingness to provide consent to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR)
- Availability to work across a 24/7 roster
- Minimum Certificate IV in Disability Services, Community Services or Individual Support OR Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and have relevant experience
- Competitive base rate + casual loadings and shift loadings as per SCHADS Award
- First Aid certificate compliance allowance (pro-rata)
