About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Worker. In this role, you will be providing quality care and support to clients in their own homes, assisting with daily living activities such as household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport.

As a member of our BaptistCare At Home team, you will be part of a supportive and values-driven organisation that prioritises the well-being and dignity of our clients. You will work closely with our clients to develop genuine connections and help them live their best possible lives.

In addition to your client-facing responsibilities, you will also have access to a comprehensive orientation program, including buddy shifts, and direct access to a dedicated supervisor for support.

You will be provided with a company mobile phone to access emails, rosters and client care plans, as well as opportunities for ongoing professional development and career pathways through our dedicated learning and development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care and support to clients in their own homes
  • Assist with daily living activities such as household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport
  • Develop genuine connections with clients and help them live their best possible lives
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality client outcomes
Requirements
  • Unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
  • Reliable vehicle with Third Party Property Damage Insurance
  • Strong communication skills and resilience
  • Patience and empathy when working with clients
