Aboriginal Child Protection Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Aboriginal Child Protection Caseworker to join our team in Western NSW.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for working sensitively and respectfully with parents, family members, children or young people to address safety and well-being concerns. They will also work collaboratively with other agencies and engage in complex problem solving to develop safety plans and complete risk assessments.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be confident, curious and resilient with excellent verbal and written communication skills. A relevant diploma or degree qualification is preferred, or at least two years' experience working with vulnerable children, young people and their families. You will also need a valid driver's licence, a paid working with children clearance number, and documented verification of Aboriginality.
