Embark on a challenging role as a Risk Management Expert at Macquarie, where you will contribute to the success of our Prudential Risk Team. Our team collaborates with diverse stakeholders across the organization to ensure compliance with APRA prudential standards.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Senior Management to shape the strategic direction of contagion risk management. You will provide timely advice on APRA's requirements and expectations, ensuring seamless compliance with relevant prudential standards and managing conflicts effectively.

You will also play a pivotal role in projects aimed at mitigating contagion risk and enhancing our risk framework, policies, and controls. Your expertise will be essential in driving business growth while maintaining the highest standards of risk management.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrable understanding of wholesale banking products and experience in Financial Services in a Risk, Treasury, Regulatory Compliance or Legal role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to solve complex problems

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

About the Role:

In this role, you will be part of our independent and centralized Risk Management Group, responsible for reviewing and challenging risk frameworks, overseeing risk monitoring, and providing expert advice on risk management strategies.
