Research and Impact Specialist

Enhance the dissemination and adoption of research outcomes in various sectors. This role involves collaborating with researchers, industry partners, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for knowledge translation and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships between researchers and end-users to ensure understanding and active involvement throughout the research lifecycle.
  • Support research leads with project timelines, budgets, and procurement processes to guarantee timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Act as the primary liaison for engagement activities such as events, seminars, media outreach, and other communication opportunities.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate strategies to convert complex research information into compelling narratives.
  • Maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships and engagement to foster a collaborative network within the organization and among industry partners.
  • Develop, manage, and evaluate online outputs including websites, social media, and other digital platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in health, communications, marketing, social sciences, or related fields.
  • Experience in planning, evaluating, and communicating research impact activities and outcomes.
  • Advanced understanding of stakeholder engagement, relationship building, events, and cross-functional communication.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate strategies for research dissemination and translation.
  • Leadership skills and initiative in improving processes that support team productivity.
  • Capacity to synthesize large amounts of information to distill key points.
