As a seasoned motor underwriter, you will be responsible for leading the underwriting of complex motor portfolios.
Key responsibilities include:
- Applying expert judgement to drive exceptional customer outcomes.
- Collaborating with distribution partners, product teams, and fellow underwriters to drive growth and innovation.
You will also be responsible for:
- Underwriting and analysing renewal and new business opportunities within delegated authority levels.
- Partnering across claims, distribution, and other underwriting lines to support multi-line opportunities.
- Contributing to underwriting innovation by sharing insights and supporting proposition development.
Qualifications and Requirements
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- 6+ years of insurance experience, including motor underwriting and sales.
- A business degree or equivalent, with ANZIIF CIP Senior Insurance Qualification.
- Proven success in driving digital transformation or innovation within underwriting.
