Job Overview

Bloomberg offers a diverse portfolio of fixed income, commodity, currency, and equity indices. These indices are driven by the same trusted reference data, pricing, and analytical calculations that are leveraged throughout the investment process.

We provide a range of services to clients interested in custom index development, investable index products designed to offer access to systematic strategies, index administration, and calculation agent services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate and license Bloomberg's fixed income, equity, and multi-asset class index solutions to prospective customers and existing Investment Managers across financial institutions in the territory.
  • Maintain existing client relationships for Bloomberg Index solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the regional sales team to seek wider adoption and increased penetration of Bloomberg Indices in this client segment across Asia Pacific.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of Indices related engagements, including data subscriptions, customization, and asset-based licensing.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Build senior level relationships with top institutional investment firms worldwide.
  • Achieve annual sales and revenue targets across the index solutions product suite.
  • Utilize market experience, industry knowledge, and technical skillset throughout the sales process from developing awareness to commercial and contract execution.
  • Conduct in-depth discussions regarding Bloomberg index methodology and new product requirements.
  • Produce clear, concise proposals with an appropriate level of detail that identifies client needs, current workflows, proposed solutions, and commercials.
