Index Trader Role

The main responsibility of this position is to focus on trading index rolls in the index centralisation spot, specifically in HK, Japan and Korea.

A key aspect of this role will be supporting the HK and Japan Equity dividend trading spot by leveraging deep knowledge of APAC dividends.

The successful candidate will be tasked with structuring focused improvement in these areas.

External relations will play a significant part in the day-to-day activities of this position, with most trading occurring through broker markets and DCPs.

This role has the potential to grow into a leadership position within the index centralisation spot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trading index rolls in the index centralisation spot
  • Supporting HK and Japan Equity dividend trading spot
  • Structuring focused improvement in these areas
  • Liaising with external parties

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in trading index rolls, pricing in dividends and interest
  • Proven track record of profitably pricing rolls
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Mature wider thinking
