Role Overview

As a key contributor to our Index Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and growth of Bloomberg's index solutions across the Australasia region. This highly visible position involves strategy shaping, senior-level relationship management, and in-depth discussions on index methodology and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with top institutional investment firms worldwide
  • Achieve annual sales targets across the index solutions product suite
  • Leverage market experience and industry knowledge throughout the sales process from awareness to contract execution
  • Lead comprehensive discussions on Bloomberg index methodology and new product requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell Bloomberg solutions
  • Travel regularly to meet with clients and prospects

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of client-facing experience in financial institutions (e.g., Investment Managers)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with indices in a sales and/or portfolio management capacity for Investment Managers or Financial Institutions in Australasia
  • Experience leading senior-level client conversations within the ANZ Investment community (last 5 years)
  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record of exceeding sales metrics
  • Ability to identify new prospects and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent communication skills to credibly lead senior-level client conversations
  • Ability to market Bloomberg products to a wide demographic of potential clients
  • Self-starter, collaborative, able to multi-task
  • Ability to travel regularly across ANZ
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Demonstrated career growth within an organization
  • Bachelor's degree or degree-equivalent qualifications
