Dispute Resolution Solicitor Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced dispute resolution solicitor to join our team. As a key member of our disputes and insolvency team, you will play a vital role in managing a portfolio of complex dispute resolution and insolvency matters.

Our ideal candidate will have 1-5+ years post-admission experience and a strong background in dispute resolution and insolvency law. You will be an excellent communicator with high-level problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new tasks quickly.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of dispute resolution and insolvency matters from start to finish, including conducting research, drafting pleadings and submissions, attending court, and negotiating settlements
  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on various disputes and insolvency matters, including bankruptcy, liquidation, receivership, and insolvency litigation
  • Work collaboratively with clients, partners, and other team members to develop and implement effective strategies to resolve disputes and insolvency matters
  • Assist in the development and training of junior team members
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Australian laws and regulations
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and technical excellence
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment is highly regarded
