We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispute Resolution Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Management team, you will be responsible for managing daily transaction dispute administrative tasks and providing exceptional customer service to merchants, payment facilitators, and financial institutions regarding payment disputes.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in payments or dispute management, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail. You should be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment, analyzing data, recognizing patterns, and understanding various business models and risks associated with payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Chargeback and Direct Debit Claim processes according to policies and standards.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries regarding disputes and claims.
  • Meet deadlines for payment scheme responses to maximize recovery and minimize losses.
  • Review transactional activity through monitoring systems, analyze alerts, and escalate when necessary.
  • Assist with merchant activity reviews and information requests.
  • Support internal stakeholders with dispute-related inquiries and fraud prevention.
  • Assess merchant activity compliance with company guidelines.
  • Contribute to process improvements through feedback and innovative ideas.
  • Provide escalation recommendations to management.
  • Communicate with merchants and conduct risk investigations.
  • Exercise discretion and judgment to resolve merchant issues.
  • Liaise with banking partners and clients.
